An alternate view of “666” – Accepting the mark of the beast in your mind (?)

As promised in the last post, let’s examine the spiritual state of deceived christo-fascist Americans - i.e., the Maga people who have adopted a hateful, racist, prideful mindset that they blasphemously refer to as “christianity.”

What is Christo-fascism?

Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, ultra-nationalist political ideology. It is characterized by the fraudulent installation of a dictator by an oligarchy/kleptocracy. Christo-fascism has historically been a stepping-stone towards total dictatorship. The prospective dictator will attempt to solidify his hold on power by convincing the people that he believes their religion, and as such, they owe him some degree of patriotic/religious devotion. In the current political context, Trump has seduced Maga by giving performative lip service to their beliefs; fusing their nominal pseudo-christianity with his proto-fascism, creating an intoxicating political cocktail for those willing to exchange JESUS for a worldly political race savior.

Spiritually taking the mark through false teaching

About 15 years ago, an interesting prophetic dream was being reported in some Christian circles. The dream was set in the future – major church denominations had agreed to drop their remaining doctrinal demands to obey the BIBLE. The dreamer found himself at a massive religious conference where “christian” preachers were being taught, in secret, how to use a beam of light to scan a barcode (666) onto the foreheads of unsuspecting church goers. The dream symbolized the use of false teaching - a beam of "dark light" - to create an anti-christ personality in the deceived; symbolically offering their souls to satan long before a beast government would begin to force people to physically take the mark - "666." Mat 6:19-24 Rev 13:11-18

While prophetic dreams do not have the authority of scripture, consider what Matthew 25:31 teaches in regard to people not realizing that they have accepted an anti-christ version of Christianity. At the final judgement, JESUS will separate the sheep from the goats - obedient believers who follow JESUS’ words in the BIBLE will be separated from hypocritical disobedient nominal christians. JESUS will judge the goats, saying to them: “go away from ME you cursed into the eternal (hell) fire prepared for the devil and his angels.” Why? Because the goats’ version of christianity rejected the commandments to have mercy on the poor, the sick, immigrants, and those in prison – offering hate, persecution, and subjection instead of love. Lev 19:33-34

Most Magas loosely follow a false, deceptive, end-time version of christianity known as dominionism / christian nationalism. Christian nationalism idolizes whiteness, patriotism, militarism, and material prosperity while vilifying the poor and creating cultural enemies to hate, fear and persecute. They believe that god wants them to enforce their white supremacist version of “christianity” by illicit, even violent political means. As such, Maga christianity literally opposes the Words of JESUS CHRIST in the BIBLE. Their hateful, non-negotiable, un-christian attitude towards vulnerable people and anyone standing for simple human decency - including their own family members - exemplifies being marked by the “dark light” from the dream. The question is, who is “scanning” the dark light of anti-christ into the minds of the Maga faithful?

Loyalty to a Vampire

Donald Trump is a spiritual vampire, draining the Christian love and salvation out of his deceived followers like a vampire sucking away their life's blood. He is a psychopath / sociopath who receives an emotional high from two things: satisfying his greed and getting away with swindling the suckers – most notably his Maga dupes. In worldly terms this emotional high is called duping delight.

Duping delight is an emotional boost, a dopamine high – a sense of power that con men and psychopaths feel when they successfully cheat or deceive another others. Lying, deception, egotism, entitlement, and a total lack of shame regarding the gibberish they spew, are all typical characteristics of the narcissistic emotional vampire who engages in duping delight. Consider the incessant Trump rallies where he blathered nonsense to his crowds of idolatrous, low-IQ, sycophants for hours on end. What was the purpose? Towards the end he was like a tired old legacy rock band doling out stale versions of his greatest hits. Even when his repetitious drivel began to visibly bore his fans, Trump did not / could not stop holding rallies. He had likely become addicted to the dopamine high he received from deceiving his victims.

Speaking of his “victims,” social scientists tell us that “when others participate in the con, hoping to gain from the charlatan's misdeeds, they can share in the high, as the thrill of duping/being duped becomes contagious” – like a disease. This is the reason that the Maga crowds kept coming to Trump’s tiresome rallies – they felt the vicarious thrill of evil power through their association with Trump’s authoritarian nastiness, cruelty, and open covetousness – which, in turn, gave them psychological permission to flaunt their own worst behaviors (e.g., the “Karen” syndrome.) In the BIBLE, GOD tells us that HE will personally deceive those who willfully partake in idolatry. HE goes on to say that HE will destroy the idolators along with the false prophets that deceive them. Eze 14:3 In Maga’s case, the idol was/is their racism; their white nationalist belief system embodied in their deceitful “savior of western civilization / champion of white supremacy” – Donald Trump.

It is Trump, his mouthpieces in the dominionist / christian nationalist pulpit, and the billionaire owned right-wing media who are scanning the “dark light” into the minds of the prideful christian nationalist idolators. They have convinced the Magas to dispense with Christlikeness and devote themselves to an ill-conceived fantasy - a white supremacist version of the 666 beast kingdom - where American christian nationalists would someday have god-like power over all the other races and nations. In their ignorance, the Magas are blind to the fact that “man becoming god” is actually the long-held power fantasy of the super-rich, who will only allow the white, lower-class, “useless eaters” to participate for as long as they are politically useful.

The Solution – it’s like the old folks used to say…

Our politics have become even more of a farse than they were in the recent past; with so many people not realizing that their attitudes and beliefs have been created for them by their technocratic overlords. They have become deceived even to the point of voting against their own immediate best interests. There are a myriad of evil forces arrayed against us, bent on taking away our freedom of thought and enforcing an anti-christ dictatorship. When things seem so dire, when so many people are engaged in self-destructive behavior and won’t respond to reason, the old folks used to say "sometimes all you can do is pray." And as Christians we can pray – prayer is powerful. Pray for GOD to deliver us from the evil that has overtaken US and world politics; pray for the victims of Americanism here and elsewhere around the world, pray for yourselves, pray against being deceived, and yes, pray for your enemies. Remember this and keep it in mind:

“Dearly beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Rom 12:19-21

Attacking “woke” - Part of satan’s master plan to kill America

Fall 2025: A large segment of the US population continues to be brainwashed into accepting political talking points that seek to lay the blame for all social and economic problems on racial diversity.

This brainwashing is the result of a simplistic, yet highly effective long-term right-wing media propaganda campaign that aims to make white pseudo-christian nationalism seem morally defensible. That campaign continues to single out minority groups as targets for hatred by white supremacists – with the largest target always being placed on the primary victim, Black Americans and anyone sympathetic to their plight – namely democrats and so-called liberals.

This is a “divide and conquer” strategy meant to convince white America that competition from smaller weaker groups is the reason for their dwindling quality of life – and not the vicious greed and megalomania of the top 1% - the evil billionaire oligarchy. 

What is “woke”

The latest divisive “dog whistle” term being promoted by the devil’s lie machine is a vague, misleading redefinition of the word “woke / wokeness.” The Oxford English Dictionary says “woke” means “alert to racial or social discrimination and injustice” – particularly to anti-black racism and the gas lighting that has long blamed Black Americans for their own victimization.

The right-wing media has recast “wokeness” as a propagandistic strawman; pretending that woke is a catch-all term for any and everything they consider to be left-wing or politically progressive. This distorted misrepresentation ridiculously attempts to frame wokeness as an attack on the dominant group, i.e., white men and so-called western civilization. Thus, anti-wokeness is essentially a call to destroy anyone who isn’t in favor of America becoming a fascist, white supremacist ethnostate under the total control of a self-worshipping kleptocracy. When stated without the politically correct equivocations, it becomes apparent why dog-whistle euphemisms like “woke” are necessary to slow-walk the masses into accepting the agenda(s) of the ultra-rich.  

As such, the attack on woke is yet another laughably obvious example of divide and conquer – “Hey team white America, the blacks and browns (DEI) are coming after your traditional hiring preference ($) but if you politically submit to us – the plutocracy – we promise to restore the – pre-affirmative action – racial hierarchy where white people automatically get all the good jobs. The falseness of this promise is already playing out in real time; as those who were happy to vote for the ruination of others find themselves also being victimized by an oligarchy that scoffs at their suffering. Nevertheless, months into his second presidency, 70% of white evangelical voters were still deceived enough to approve of Trump’s un-christian, illegal, unconstitutional, and pointlessly stupid, destructive policies.

Why anti-wokeness is part of satan’s plan

Right-wing talking heads (political prostitutes who have sold their souls for money) almost never provide a coherent explanation of wokeness because at its core, “woke” is nothing more than a factual recitation of America’s history of racial persecution, i.e., the truth. Anti-wokeness aims to rewrite history; to erase or downplay the inhumane evils committed by white America associated with its idolatrous love of money. The evil billionaire propagandists have convinced their dupes to reject the truth and by doing so to reject BIBLICAL repentance for individual and corporate sins. It is rank blasphemy to pretend that telling the GOD’s honest truth about American history is evil. If you believe telling the truth is evil, satan is drawing your soul to hell.

Why anti-woke is killing “post-truth” America

The America that satan is killing is a noble idea that has never been brought to fruition – an America that respects the truth; a moral America that would extend decent and humane treatment to all people; a democratic nation that would make good on the promise of offering a decent standard of living to everyone; an American melting pot that would extend its constitutionally guaranteed rights to every resident – even recent immigrants. It may shock some people but these are the values expressed by JESUS Christ in the BIBLE – "woke" values that “post truth” white christian nationalists have come to openly and vocally despise; valuing their white pride over the WORDS of JESUS in the BIBLE. Mat 22:34

People who read the BIBLE know that at some point, GOD will remove HIS protection from an unrepentant America; an America that is currently sponsoring yet another genocide. When GOD moves out of the way, satan will strike. Unfortunately, many “christians” who ignore the commandments of JESUS still somehow believe their salvation is unconditional; they believe that they are safe from GOD’s judgement regardless of their pride, greed, and anti-christian treatment of others. Gal 5:19 Mat 7:21-23

Project 2025 and satan’s magik dust

In my previous post about P2025, I discussed how P2025’s underlying agenda is essentially the oligarch’s decades-old neoliberal economic program – thinly disguised as a Christian Nationalist manifesto.

Neoliberalism is an economic philosophy which argues that the rich should be allowed to pursue their business interests, making the maximum possible profit, w/o any interference from the government. Ultimately, neoliberalism is like a substitute religion – it is the idolization of greed.

On its surface, P2025 may look like a plan to empower white christian nationalism but the real underlying agenda is to convince right-wing voters to cede political power to the oligarchy. See Trump’s Agenda 47 – it is just a dumbed down version of P2025 that outlines the fascist, anti-egalitarian steps that a prospective 2nd Trump administration would immediately implement to put the oligarchy's plan into action. If the oligarchy can install and command an all-powerful presidency, they will control the nation and by extension, the world - it is the anti-Christ's dream. Disregard Trump’s lies, voting for Trump is voting for Project 2025; voting for your own enslavement to an authoritarian government.

Racist Propaganda – the magik dust luring white christian nationalists to their spiritual deaths

P2025 is really a roadmap for creating consent among low-information, right-wing, pseudo-Christian voters for the installation of the billionaire’s neoliberal authoritarian (fascist) government in the United States. P2025 uses propaganda to falsely argue that every Federal Government agency and department has been taken over from within by left-wingers (i.e., educated people) who are somehow forcing wokeism and CRT (i.e., anti-racism) on “team white America.” Such propaganda is so crass and juvenile that it is hard to fathom that so many people calling themselves christians could ever fall for it.

Definition: Propaganda is information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view. Simply put, propaganda is a means of spreading lies to demonize one’s chosen political victims / enemies. The BIBLE plainly states that those who love and promote lies will be damned. Rev 21:8, Rev 22:14-15

The entire rationale given in P2025 for its goal of “dismantling the administrative state,” is the entirely ludicrous idea that “wokeism” and “CRT” have somehow undermined the ability of every government agency to carry out its function - so therefore, 50,000 federal government employees should be immediately fired and replaced with unknowledgeable, inexperienced, incompetent maga loyalists. Supposedly, this adolescently foolish idea would put America “back on track.”

The real intention, if implemented, would be for this cadre of right-wing loyalists to hinder the enforcement of the laws and regulations put in place to protect the public against the demonic greed of the oligarchy and the racism of local white supremacists at the state level. Of course, in actual practice, this would bring the Federal Government to a standstill – endangering every citizen in the United States as the new employees would simply not know how to do their jobs.

What does CRT actually mean? The Racist lies regarding CRT…

It is remarkable that no space could be found anywhere among the 922 pages of the P2025 document for a glossary of terms, i.e., definitions. This was, of course, intentional and necessary because P2025 uses many terms whose original meanings have been distorted for propagandistic purposes by the billionaire controlled right-wing media complex. Terms repeatedly used in P2025 as racist dog whistles include:

• Critical Race Theory (CRT)
• Woke (wokeism/wokeness/awokening – note the sophomoric, made-up words)
• Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI)
• Social Justice

By now, most people have seen at least one online video where racist right-wing talking heads are unable to give any sort of coherent definition for terms like “CRT” and “Woke.” For instance, this supposed author of a book attacking “wokeness,” went viral for not being able to actually explain wokeness to an interviewer. Understand, however, the actual meanings of these dog whistles have become irrelevant – both to those spinning the propaganda and to those who have been brainwashed into accepting the lies. To the right-wing audience, CRT and woke are now just code words meant to evoke an emotional response – white racists irrationally feel that any mention of their racism against Black Americans is racism against them. In other words, a large segment of the American public has declared that it is determined to remain unrepentant and will never acknowledge America’s sinful history of genocide and racism.

Critical Race Theory, or CRT, is an academic and legal framework that denotes that systemic racism is part of American society — from education and housing to employment and healthcare. Critical Race Theory recognizes that racism is more than the result of individual bias and prejudice. It is essentially an academic response to the erroneous notion that American society and institutions are “colorblind.”

P2025 is largely based on the lie that CRT is racism against white people and is so pervasive that it threatens white nationalists at every level of society. CRT is actually a graduate level law school course. It has never been part of any K-12 public school curriculum, yet P2025 pretends that their false definition of CRT (i.e., that anti-racism is anti-white america) is being taught in public schools, to the military, in business, and in the government. This is an utter falsehood, but satan’s lie machine has chosen to make a straw man out of their false, ill-defined characterization of CRT – something that they can attack as being “anti-white” in order to tar their selected enemies.

The redefined “code” words used as propaganda by the authors of P2025 are meant to make white supremacists feel attacked and therefore justified in their racist actions and beliefs. They are being deceived into accepting (or more likely into simply ignoring) the implications of the P2025 agenda that would eventually destroy their own freedoms – all for nothing more than the mere promise of being able to feel like part of “team white America.” The strategy of the entire document seems to follow the sad truth of LBJ’s famous quote about the psychology of petty, mean-spirited American racists.

LBJ: "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."

Outro: What Trump voters are actually voting for…

Buy now, most voters probably see Trump as a ridiculous, mindless, selfish, greasy, orange rape pig. Many however, will still vote for him because to some degree, they are not voting for Trump anymore; what they are actually voting for is Trump’s embrace of their racism. Simply put, America’s Trump voters are voting for white supremacy. P2025 promises white christian nationalist America that they will be given the power to officially continue their pretense that America is not a racist country and through the utter hypocrisy of legalized "colorblindness," that they will be allowed to economically, socially, and politically disenfranchise Blacks and other minorities while pretending that race has nothing to do with it. The oligarchs are telling America’s white nationalists that they will allow them to practice their racism in exchange for allowing them – the billionaires – to control the government and economy via dictatorship.

It is a devil’s bargain. The sponsors of P2025 are pied pipers leading their deceived minions to hell by appealing to their hypocritical un-christian racist pride. Pro 16:5, Pro 16:18

 Project 2025: Antichrist in disguise – Pt 1

…it is the last time. And as you have heard that the antichrist [he who will oppose Christ in the guise of Christ] is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen… 1Joh 2:18 (AMP)

As of September 2024, most american media outlets continue to characterize Project 2025 as a plan for christian domination of the U.S. Government. Top Google search results say things like: Project 2025 “…seeks to infuse the government with conservative Christian values; …is a Christian nationalist plan to steer the U.S. toward autocracy; …is a Christo-fascist manifesto, etc.”

However, upon closer inspection, when stripped of its Christian Nationalist dog whistles, we find that P2025 tracks precisely with the decades-old, unchristian, anti-democratic, neoliberal, economic agenda of the ultra-rich. (Neoliberalism proposes that making the rich richer, will somehow produce the best economic outcome for everyone else; i.e., the demonic lie of trickle-down economics.)

P2025 – who’s agenda is it?

As alluded to in a previous blog post, P2025 is not really a christian right manifesto. It does give lip service to the right wing evangelical political agenda by employing the code words and racist dog whistles that the Dominionists/Christian Nationalists (D/CNs) have been trained to respond to. However, it only employs this propaganda to create political consent among those it seeks to deceive – people who think they are being given the power to destroy their “enemies” but who are instead, literally voting for their own destruction. While P2025 seems to make vague promises of political power to the D/CNs, a big picture overview reveals that it is nothing other than a recitation of the American oligarchy’s long-range anti-egalitarian plan to impose a system of government whose sole purpose will be to serve the profit-making greed of the super-rich. P2025 is just the same old neoliberal manifesto in a new disguise.

Are these “Christian Values?”

Q: Is there proof that P2025 isn’t a “christian” plan?

A: Aside from the fact that it was created by the billionaire-controlled Heritage Foundation as a plan to deregulate corporate activities – a plan whose successful implementation will hurt all Americans except the evil rich? 

Below are just a few examples of the pointlessly greedy antichristian agenda stated by or alluded to in P2025 – things that would hurt people (especially the poor and minorities) instead of helping them:

• Tax cuts for the rich
•  Which means tax increases for average citizens
•  Increased war spending, while:
• Reducing / privatizing Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid (Privatization means that average people will no longer benefit from these programs)
• Reducing aid to the poor, including eliminating food security for children
• Eliminating civil rights protections
• Destroying public health by:
• Eliminating environmental protections
• Slashing food safety regulations
• Destroying public education
• Using the military to police (kill) American citizens if they protest

Compare the evil greed implicit in this agenda with JESUS’ words at Mat 25:31-46. JESUS condemns (to hell) those who refuse to offer assistance and charity to people in need. This is not a Christian agenda - it is literally the opposite of the Christianity taught by JESUS in the BIBLE.

P2025 is a Trojan Horse

P2025 is nothing less than a roadmap by the ultra-rich for creating an authoritarian “royal” presidency in the U.S.  P2025 is satan’s trojan horse – delivered outside the gate of the republican right-wing evangelical church (D/CNs) to lure them into voting in an antichrist system of government.

If an American president is ever allowed to have the dictatorial power that P2025 wants to give the office, the oligarchs would, in theory, only have to own and control one person to rule the entire nation and by extension the world. The oligarchs’ urgency in openly presenting their authoritarian plan at this moment could be because they sense that this is their big chance to end representative democracy - a chance that could be lost for many years under a new democratic regime. They have spent billions to reinstall an amoral psychopath, the self-obsessed Donald Trump, who they could easily manipulate into implementing their authoritarian presidency.

The chance to create an autocratic presidency through the voting process is probably the bloodless takeover that former Heritage president Kevin Roberts was alluding to when he quoted the disgraced Catholic integralist philosopher and sexual predator John McCloskey.

“Hath GOD said?” …and satan tempted Eve… (Gen 3:1)

…And the rich oligarchs (speaking as satan) said to the white Christian Nationalists: “hath GOD said to love your enemies and forgive in order to be forgiven? Isn’t it better to have the political power to destroy your enemies? Surely we will share that power with you once we complete our authoritarian takeover.”

P2025 is utter deception. It uses demonic lies - fascist propaganda created to justify an authoritarian takeover that could only ever benefit the ultra-rich. The oligarchs will obviously step in and take control if they can convince their dupes to vote in their antichrist system. The final coup will be carried out by those offering the road map – satan takes pleasure in destroying those who he has deceived. See the example at Rev 17:16 - the beast will destroy the prostitute - the apostate church that helps him take control.

Why do some say there is no Rapture?

These days it is not unusual to hear someone say that there is no such thing as the Rapture. Such people could edify (enlighten / teach) the church by simply explaining what they mean by the term “rapture” – instead, they often seem satisfied to spread confusion. What many of them are actually talking about is the “secret, end-time, pre-tribulation, all-fly-away” rapture; a false teaching popular among American evangelicals. Even though the pre-tribulation rapture is not taught anywhere in the BIBLE, many modern christians believe that they are chosen to escape all of GOD’s coming judgments on the world. (Tribulation refers to a series of disasters outlined in the BIBLE that signal the end of the world as we know it, i.e., the apocalypse.)

What the BIBLE does teach is the resurrection of the righteous dead at JESUS’ second coming. It says the “dead in CHRIST shall rise up and any righteous Christians who happen to still be alive at that time will also be caught up in the air with them to be with JESUS. 1 Thes 4:13-17

Note that the emphasis of the Gospel message is on eternal salvation; the promise of resurrection after death. The rapture of the living at the second coming is just an inevitable consequence of the general resurrection of all who are worthy to be saved.

The word “rapture”

One group that denies the rapture does so because the word “rapture” does not appear in traditional English BIBLE translations (KJV, etc.). This is a pointless and deceptive argument because the apostle Paul originally wrote in Greek. He used the Greek word, “harpazo,” which means to “seize by force, to catch up, or snatch away” to describe what happens to living Christians at the second coming. Early Latin BIBLES translated harpazo as “rapio/raptus/rapturo” – which also means to be taken by force. From the Latin rapturo, we get the English phrase: “caught up,” and the word rapture which is commonly used to describe the scenario at 1 Thes 4:17.

JESUS said that the second coming and the gathering of the elect (the saved obedient Christians) occurs after the great tribulation. Mat 24:21-31, 1 Cor.15:51-52  The pre-tribulation rapture is not in the BIBLE but the “catching up in the air,” the rapture of the living saints at the same time as the resurrection, certainly is.    

Other significant groups that dismiss the rapture are preterists / dominionists / post millennialists. Their false doctrines cause them to twist the scripture to support their presupposition that all end-time scenarios in Bible prophesy must have happened in the past – in or before 70 AD – when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem. They want to believe that we are currently in the “thousand-year reign,” i.e., Christ’s millennial kingdom on earth, to support their ludicrous claim that white American christians have been appointed to take political control and rule the world for JESUS. Understand that JESUS consistently rebuked HIS disciples for suggesting that HIS kingdom had anything to do with seeking worldly political dominion.

Conclusions

Focusing on the rapture as a way to escape the judgement of the world is missing the point. We were put here to be tested and JESUS has challenged us to overcome sinfulness in order to be saved. Rev 2:7, 17, 26 ; 3:5, 12, 21  Aside from those who fall away when they realize that there is no pre-trib rapture, it could be said that the timing of the rapture isn’t really that important. Why? Because every person must still be spiritually ready to face their own personal judgement day. Being alive at the time of the rapture is no guarantee of salvation, particularly for those who have not produced fruit worthy of repentance; those living in sin who have allowed themselves to be convinced that mere acceptance of JESUS has given them the right to claim eternal salvation. "…for the whole time of your faith will not profit you, if ye be not made perfect in the last time.  …in the last days false prophets and corrupters shall be multiplied, and the sheep shall be turned into wolves, and love shall be turned into hate…" Didache (1st Century letter from the Apostles)

Religious Hypocrisy – doorway to end-time deception…

What is religious hypocrisy?

Simply put, hypocrisy, including religious hypocrisy, is pridefully lying about your beliefs and intentions in order to manipulate others – usually for personal gain. In modern America, religious hypocrites typically use false interpretations of Christianity to deceive those who want to follow them.

The hypocrisy of the right-wing political church

While hypocrisy is rife in politics in general, I specifically call out the American right-wing republican political machine because it blasphemously pretends to uphold “christian values” while openly flouting the actual commandments of JESUS. In truth, propagandists for Christian Nationalism are mostly focused on achieving political dominion over those whom they hate instead of “loving your neighbor and praying for your enemies” (as JESUS commanded). Their “religion” is much closer to political fascism than it is to Biblical Christianity.

Anyone who wants to argue this point can read this article about the widely quoted interview with the past President of the Southern Baptist Convention, where he laments the fact that right-wing conservative “christians” are actually condemning pastors for  preaching the WORDS of JESUS from the BIBLE. Right-wing evangelicals specifically despise the commandments by JESUS to love everyone because those passages oppose their desire to hate the enemies they have chosen to fight in their culture war.

JESUS threatened religious hypocrites with hell

JESUS specifically denounced religious hypocrisy, saying: “…you hypocrites, you honor me outwardly with words but your actions and true beliefs aren’t consistent with what you say; your worship is useless because you stress your man-made rules instead of the commandments of GOD.” (Paraphrase of Mat 15:8-9)

JESUS went on to pronounce a terrible condemnation against the scribes and Pharisees - the seven woes recorded in Mat 23. (A “woe” is a warning of impending doom that will inevitably result from opposing GOD.)

JESUS makes it abundantly clear that unrepentant religious hypocrites (liars) are condemning themselves – HE calls them “sons of hell, vipers and serpents,” and asks them: “how can you escape the damnation of hell?” Mat 23:15, Mat 23:33

Nonetheless, many modern right-wing political christians lie so brazenly that it is apparent that they are not afraid of any consequences in the world to come, connected to their hypocrisy. IMO, the popular “once saved always saved” false doctrine is the self-deception that emotionally empowers people, especially nominal christians, to feel secure in their salvation even when willfully committing sins that the BIBLE says are disqualifying. The BIBLE says that no (unrepentant) liars will be permitted in Heaven. Rev 21:8, Rev 21:27  Hypocrisy is lying.

A modern parallel…

The ancient Israelites killed many of the prophets sent to them by GOD because the rulers hated the message the prophets were sent to deliver. They were often rejected as false prophets because instead of prophesying the blessings that the self-righteous hypocrites wanted to hear, they prophesied destruction if Israel refused to repent. “Killing the messenger” did not stop the prophecy of destruction from coming true. 

One of the woes that JESUS pronounced against the religious rulers of HIS day was for the same kind of hypocrisy. The Pharisees were telling themselves that they were the “good guys” – that they would not have murdered the prophets like their ancestors did. However, JESUS told them that was exactly what they would do:

“… you testify against yourselves that you are descendants of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up then the measure of your ancestors!” Mat 23:29-33

“Fill up the measure” is a biblical ultimatum that if you keep on sinning, GOD will have no choice but to allow you to be destroyed. This prophecy was fulfilled when the Pharisees and Sadducees rejected John the Baptist and crucified JESUS.

In a striking parallel, modern American dominionists hypocritically tell themselves that they bear absolutely no guilt or responsibility for America’s immeasurable racism; past and present. They refuse to be accused of racism - even when their political sympathies obviously support a future white supremacist vision of America. In their almost universal acceptance of right-wing propaganda against so-called “wokeness,” the modern dominionist church hysterically attacks any discussion of America’s ongoing racism and other related corporate sins.  

Self-Deception in the end times

Dominionism and Christian Nationalism (D/CN) are the motivations behind this hypocrisy. In their warped preterist view of patriotic christianity, D/CNs have convinced themselves that as God’s chosen nation, they must return America to the “values and lifestyles” it was founded on. Then they want to institute a theocratic world government – no matter how long it takes – after which, according to them, JESUS can return. (Preterism and Dominionism are, in fact, titanic end-time deceptions.)

It upsets their un-biblical, fantastical applecart to have truth tellers expose the fact that America was founded on a mountain of horrific soul-destroying sins and that there are, in reality, no decent founding values to return to. This is why they continually repeat the trope that “America was not founded on racism;” they need to believe it, even though racism was written right into the original Constitution. The truth delegitimizes all of their claims of moral authority. The greedy, genocidal, money loving, slaveocracy that was/is America has no historical spiritual imprimatur to lead the world towards a regime of Christian moralism – especially when its own massive sins have long gone unrepented.

Their overwhelming hypocrisy and self-deception lie in the fact that D/CNs are determined to believe what they want - in service of their prideful quest for political and racial supremacy - regardless of what the BIBLE says. Like the Pharisees, they are following in the footsteps of their sinful racist ancestors by refusing to repent and admit that they have the same sinful mindset.

They need to “kill the message” because they fear that the succeeding generations – those they are counting on to continue their quest for “christian” white supremacy - will be derailed hearing the unvarnished truth about American history. Hence, their tooth and nail political fight against “wokeness” and any allusion to America’s overwhelmingly sinful past in the public school curriculum.

“The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.” 1Tim 4:1-2

Dominionism Opposes the BIBLE - Church heresies that Encourage American socio-political dysfunction, Part 4c.

This is part 4(c) in a series of articles showing how the acceptance of anti-biblical beliefs by people calling themselves Christian has led to the current political situation in America - where a large portion of the population is willing to accept fascism to maintain their perceived racial dominance. (See this post for definitions.)

Dominionism is the thoroughly unbiblical belief that politically conservative Americans (dominionists and christian nationalists, i.e., D/CNs) have been called by God to take control of all worldly institutions in order to enforce their version of white supremacist “christianity” on all Americans and ultimately to create a world theocracy under their control.

What if… Dominionism is just a strategy for world control by the evil rich?

America’s “christian” plutocrats have historically told their followers that because they are God’s elect everyone should accept the methods they used to gain control. Inspired by Calvinism, they claim that their money and/or power is proof that they were chosen and that all of their actions represent God’s sovereign will. But what if dominionism is just a long-term propaganda tactic meant to convince naive right wing political Christians to support a totalitarian form of government that will eventually be exported world-wide? What if dominionism is just a means to popularize the one percent’s quest for world domination?

Creating “Another” Jesus to justify the love of money

He who says, I know him (JESUS), but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 Joh 2:4

In the previous post we examined the “Family,” a powerful politico-religious cult of Calvinist authoritarians who have created a false version of christianity to justify their greed and lust for political power. I promised to show how the oligarchy’s false dominionist christianity (represented in the Family’s theology) opposes the true message of the BIBLE. According to their extreme version of Calvinist double predestination, they believe that they were chosen to rule over the poor and will not be held accountable for any misdeeds because everything they do is ultimately part of God’s plan.

In the documentary about the Family, there is a scene where one of the cult leaders uses the story of David and Bathsheba in an attempt to justify this belief. In the Old Testament, king David stole another man’s wife and caused that man to be killed in an attempt to cover up the adulterous affair. 2 Sa 11  According to the Family’s false theology, GOD ignored/excused David’s terrible sins - adultery and murder - because David was chosen and “elect.” The Calvinist authoritarians claim that GOD ignores their sins on the same basis.

This false interpretation is so dangerous because:

1)    GOD made an eternal covenant with David long before this incident and there is no such covenant with modern D/CNs. The modern Calvinist oligarchs are employing biblical eisegesis – taking phrases and concepts out of their original context to try to prove something that the BIBLE does not actually teach. No credible prophet or righteous person has ever told the 1% that they now represent the elect of God – this is just an idea derived from Calvinism. In fact, the BIBLE says that those who love money and love the world are the enemies of GOD. Jas 4:4-8  1 John 2:15-17 

2)    GOD did not ignore David’s sin. 2 Sa 7:8-16  GOD pronounced a curse on David – his punishment was that he would never have peace in his household and that someone would humiliate him by publicly taking his wives just like he took the wife of Uriah. As an immediate judgement, the child that resulted from David’s adultery did not survive. Later, David’s grown son Amnon was murdered by his half-brother Absalom, after Amnon raped Absalom’s sister. Absalom eventually rebelled and started a civil war, naming himself king. Absalom captured the royal palace and took 10 of David’s wives as his own. Saddened and humiliated, David ultimately regained the throne but 20 thousand Israelites, including his son Absalom, were killed in the war.

So, unlike the false teaching of the Fellowship, GOD didn’t ignore David’s sin just because he was chosen – he paid a heavy price. Like the Puritans who murdered the native Americans to steal their land, the capitalist oligarchs who proclaim themselves to be the elect of God are using an Old Testament promise that was not made to them as a blasphemous anti-christian self-justification.

This false version of Christianity has been called "Jesus plus nothing." Members of the Family are expected to surrender themselves to “Jesus” - in exchange for which, they claim to be saved and to be working for Jesus in everything they do without having to change their worldly behavior or actually becoming Christ-like - IOW without actually obeying the commandments of JESUS. The Calvinist oligarchy’s lawless nominal christianity is just a version of hyper grace (antinominionism), i.e., they believe they are “chosen” so they are not accountable for their sins. (Whether any right-wing billionaires actually believe the Calvinist inspired version of dominionism that their minions promote or whether it is just an authoritarian strategy used to deceive the masses into supporting their regime, is a discussion beyond the scope of this article.)

What JESUS said about the rich and the poor – Lazarus and the rich man…

It is instructive that JESUS gives HIS most direct teaching about the reality of hell in the context of HIS parable about “Lazarus and the Rich man.” Luk 16:19  JESUS presents HIS attitude about the damnable greed of the rich so plainly that it is amazing that anyone pretending to be a Christian would have the audacity to promote an opposing idea.

In the parable, Lazarus, a cripple, begs for food by the gate of a rich property owner who lives a lavish, royal lifestyle. The rich man, whether through maliciousness or simple thoughtlessness, ignores the poor beggar and allows him to starve right outside his house (not even offering him scraps). When both men are dead, the spirit of the selfish rich man is shown being tormented in flames (hell) while Lazarus is seen in the eternal realm of the righteous.

Was Lazarus, crippled and reduced to begging, not among GOD’s elect because of the unfortunate circumstances of his life? Was the rich man proved to be elect and unconditionally saved because he was rich? JESUS teaches the very opposite of what Calvinists and dominionists would have you believe: the rich man was damned because of his selfish greed and the poor man was saved regardless of the dire circumstances of his earthly life. GOD stresses HIS concern for the poor dozens of times throughout the BIBLE.  

Conclusions:

1.    They aren’t really Christians

Way back in the first article of this blog, I said that the actions of American right-wing political christians (D/CNs) show that they aren’t really Christians. As provocative as that statement may sound, it was recently corroborated by Russel Moore, the former leader of the (very conservative) Southern Baptist Convention – the largest protestant denomination in America. Moore, now chief editor of Christianity Today, in a widely quoted interview said that the evangelical church is in a spiritual crisis because right wing evangelical church goers are openly and blasphemously rejecting the teachings of JESUS as sounding like “weak liberal talking points.” IOW, republican parishioners are proving themselves to be more devoted to their hateful white supremacist politics than they are to the WORD of GOD.

Dominionism / Christian Nationalism is just fascist politics masquerading as Christianity. D/CNs blatantly ignore the commandment(s) of JESUS (“love your neighbor as yourself”) and hate any realistic recounting of history that shines the light of truth on the lies they tell themselves to justify their quest for political dominion. In fact, falsifying history is a classic tactic of fascism. The BIBLE tells us that hating the truth is a major indication of end time deception. 2 Thes 2:8-12

2.    Bow down to the rich and they will care for the poor - the farce of “trickle down” economics

One of the biggest political lies in recent decades has been the “trickle down” economics theory. The idea being that if (through tax breaks) the rich and powerful could become even more rich and powerful they would, out of the goodness of their hearts, share their bounty with the poor. This concept is an outgrowth of the Family’s grossly unbiblical doctrine of helping the rich instead of helping the poor.

The concept of helping the rich to get richer so they can be more generous to the poor has proven to be a laughable farce. As we see from the current distribution of wealth in America, trickle-down economics was/is nothing more than a transparent scam – a ridiculous falsehood. In 2023, the top 1% of wealthy Americans hold 36% of the nation’s wealth. The top 10% own almost 70% of the wealth - while the bottom 50% own a mere 2.6%. There are between 700 and 800 billionaires in America. Those few hundred people own twice as much as the bottom 50% of the population (167 million people). About 12% of Americans currently live below the official poverty line, making less than $13K per year - when the average yearly rent for an apartment is $20K. At least 10% (34 million people) in the richest country in the world don’t get enough to eat, including children, while republican controlled state legislatures vote to abolish free lunch programs in public schools. World-wide, 80% of humanity lives on less than $10 a day, with a quarter of the world’s population, over 2 billion people, living in semi or actual starvation conditions. The idea that the rich will give more if they have more is just a sad joke.

Nevertheless, one might reasonably think that there is some merit in preaching JESUS to the rich so that they might become better people. Historically however, the greed of the rich seems to grow as their paranoia overtakes them and corrupts their souls; the love of money being the root of all evil. Unsurprisingly, the false christian doctrines that cater to the rich have emboldened them to become even more greedy. Not content with massive tax breaks (shamelessly rebranded as the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act” under Trump), they propose to end as many social programs as possible so they can take even more.

3.    Dominion and the New World Order – the ultimate deception?

For decades conspiracy minded Americans have been groomed by right-wing propaganda to fear a United Nations led world government - the so-called New World Order; a world-wide communistic regime that would enforce a single currency and usher in the anti-christ. What would you say to the possibility that the NWO already exists? Could the so-called New World Order that we were warned to fear in the 80s and 90s already be in place? Could it be that we are blinded by the fact that those currently implementing a NWO are nominal christian capitalists instead of godless communists?

The US has over 1000 military bases operating in at least 80 countries world-wide. The US spends more on its military than the next 10 countries combined – imposing the will of its corporate oligarchy throughout the world. Who indeed, can make war with the beast? Rev 13:4  Is the US the evil empire, a dominionist NWO, that we don't recognize because we have been convinced by everything we've learned since childhood that we are the good guys?

In terms of influencing national and international politics, the Family courts “key men” – with the idea that every person in power, no matter how hypocritical or even demonstrably evil, is somehow ultimately doing god’s will. The Family will do business with that person if they are willing to play ball by calling on the name of “their” Jesus (no matter how insincerely). This false image of Jesus has allowed them to partner with some of the most overtly evil dictators and business people in the world to gain political power and access to money. Thus, the corporate oligarchs blasphemously invoke the name of JESUS to justify their support of murderous third world dictators; selling them weapons produced by America’s military industrial complex to create the havoc that allows corporations to gain control of the oil and other natural resources in their impoverished nations. For those who don’t understand, the political and economic instability purposefully created in third-world countries by the west makes it impossible for average people to continue living there – they risk everything to flee to Europe and America where they hope to find some semblance of the rule of law.  

By promoting never ending war, the oligarchs are getting paid on both ends. They own the weapons contractors who have direct access to your tax dollars and they use America’s military influence overseas to steal what they want from less powerful countries.

Consider that the D/CN promoted to the masses is just a strategic stepping stone; propaganda sponsored by the plutocracy to get right-wing political “christians,” i.e., Trump voters (including police and military), to support the installation of an authoritarian government – an actual NWO anti-christ government that would no doubt, soon set out to destroy them along with everyone else.

The typical joe-sixpack D/CN doesn’t seem to realize that the plutocracy / oligarchy that they idolize are the ones who have always been pushing for total control – the kind of control that is characterized by the desire for world dominion. They are the ones sponsoring the propagandization of the masses, making them believe that democracy needs to be dispensed with in order for whites to maintain political control in America.  

If you have any doubt that the dominionist tune is being called by the billionaire oligarchy, I refer you to the current right-wing blueprint for ending democracy in America – the fascist-minded Project 2025 recently released by the billionaire controlled Heritage Foundation. (We might consider that this plan was probably already available to be implemented had the tragi-comic 1/6 insurrection been successful.) Here are two articles that give an overview of the immediate danger presented by that plan. The fact that the corporate media is not screaming its head off 24/7 about the existential danger represented by Project 2025 should give you an idea of who is in control.

Nowhere does the BIBLE say that men need to use force to gain political control of the world in the name of Christ – to do so would be the opposite of JESUS commanded. Nevertheless, the rich men of the earth seem hell-bent on imposing an international authoritarian government - as evidenced by the fascist strong men who have come to power in the west during the Trump era. A coalition of non-democratic totalitarian western governments appear to be very much like what might be required to give a world-ruling anti-christ figure immediate control – regardless of whether the oligarchy believes in an anti-christ or not. Dominionism pretends to justify itself as a means of enforcing christian morality, but at its core it is just another “man is god” world domination fantasy, white supremacy gone mad.
